This Belgian Dark Strong spent 6 months in the red wine barrels that had formerly housed Odin. Big notes of stone fruit, fig and plum carry through from start to finish. Toasty, bready malt and rich toffee support a boozy warming base. Dry as a bone with a clean tight finish. Best enjoyed at 9 to 12 degrees, that light warming allows Fenris to really shine. This is a beer you can sit and slowly sip, enjoying as it warms and evolves.
